Conference Overview

It is obvious from the record of the New Testament that prayer was central to the life of Jesus and the early Church, and it is no different for us today. This conference is designed to help you develop a more effective prayer life, as well as the power that comes through corporate prayer in your church.

The practical teaching presented will cover, How does God answer prayer, What are the hindrances to prayer, and What are the scriptural requirements for answered prayer? Following this general overview, Father Hansen presents teachings on specific types of prayer: The Lord’s Prayer used as a model for daily personal use; healing prayer based on a five-step process; intercessory prayer; spiritual warfare, and contemplative prayer.

Each presentation on prayer will be followed by a practicum, where we move from talking about prayer to actually doing it. These exercises will provide an opportunity to learn and experience firsthand these types of prayer.
