Conference Overview

Drawing Closer is designed to help Christians grow and mature in their faith by examining four major areas of spiritual development: sin, healing, discipleship, and empowerment.

During the weekend you will discover just how to deal with our sinful nature. Just because we come to faith in Jesus Christ does not mean we stop battling our fallen nature. God has given us a divine strategy to combat sin in our lives. Learn how to successfully win the war, battle by battle (temptation by temptation).

This conference also looks at the many ways God heals us and how important healing is for all His Children. Of course there is physical healing, but there is much much more. You will learn how to embrace God's healing for the pain we all experience in day-to-day life.

We all know Jesus looks for us to become “disciples”, not merely churchgoers. This conference addresses the need for continuing in the Apostles Teaching as a life long commitment. You will uncover ways to bring the Bible to life on a daily basis and why this is so important for disciples.

The final segment of the conference is on the gift, power and ministry of the Holy Spirit for kingdom living. Jesus promised we would receive power (Acts 1:8) to be His witnesses. That power was released to the church on Pentecost and continues to empower the church today. We will learn about the power of the Holy Spirit for us today.
